As of October 18, 2022, I am currently paneled with Aetna, Cigna, Optum and Kaiser Southern California with Path Mental Health.

Path Mental Health

Starting October 24th, I will start seeing adult clients via Path Mental Health on Mondays from 9am-1:45pm and 3pm-7:45pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-1:45pm.

Starting the first week of November, I will be opening up additional therapy slots on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

My out-of pocket rate at Path Mental Health is $120/hour.

If you are a current client, go to the right hand side of this webpage and click the link that says, “Complete your Path registration instead.”

Continue to check this page for updates.

Former Clients at Previous Positions

Due to unexpected complications that I did not foresee–but needed to urgently act upon–I am only seeing clients through Path Mental Health as of October 24, 2022.

I understand this was not the news that you expected, and I wish to be supportive and accountable to you if my current placement does not take your insurance and you cannot afford to pay my out-of-pocket rate. I am truly sorry for any complications and distress this may have caused.

If you are a former therapy client and have not yet found a therapist who works for you, please contact me ASAP at so that I can find you three appropriate referrals within 48 hours.

This service is only free to former psychotherapy clients.  If you are not a former psychotherapy client, I will ask you to pay a consulting fee of $200/hour before we proceed.

When reaching out to me, please state the following so I can attempt to match you with a therapist who most fits your needs:

  1. How much you are able to pay for each session
  2. Your current insurance
  3. Whether you prefer in-person or telehealth sessions

It was truly an honor to work with every one of you, and I wish you the best in each of your mental health journeys.

Child and Adolescent Therapy

As of October 5, 2022, I am no longer working with psychotherapy clients under the age of 18.

I recommend the following child and adolescent therapists for their culturally humble approaches:

Michelle Bloomberg, LMFT
Marie Paniagua, LMFT

Please contact Two Chairs and specifically request to work with Marie. Marie accepts Kaiser, Aetna, and self-pay clients.

If you are a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psy.D or Ph.D working with children and adolescents and would like me to list you as a referral here:

  1. Read the Core Values on my website. (Out of my clinical and personal integrity, I only recommend working with providers who share these core values.)
  2. If you would like to be considered as a referral, please e-mail me at with the subject line “Referral Source.”
  3. I will be assessing each possible referral with a conversation about cultural humility and a history of working with–and advocating for–marginalized and deliberately unheard populations.
